Mission Statement: Guardian Christian Academy partners with parents to provide their children with a distinctly biblical and academically excellent education that develops the body, mind, and soul, while equipping students to become godly leaders and to successfully engage the culture for Christ.

Since 1975, the Preschool program has been an integral part of the community. It has always been our desire to create a very positive first impression of school for the children in our care. The hours of operation for the preschool are 9:30 am - 1:00 pm.

Developmentally appropriate instruction provides the student with constructive experiences through:

  • Structured activity time
  • Creative play
  • Music
  • Stories

Two, three, and five day classes are available.

The curriculum is constructed using A Beka Christian preschool materials, Macmillan Early Skills, and Imagination Station. Each lead teacher has a favorite early childhood website that provides craft activities for preschoolers.

Classrooms are equipped with age appropriate chairs and tables. Colorful walls and decorations create a safe and appealing atmosphere where children can learn readiness skills necessary to excel in Kindergarten.

The staff is qualified by study, personality, and experience. Each teacher is dedicated to the education, care, and personal guidance of the children by setting Christian standards and ideals. Staff members participate in continuing education classes throughout the year. These are offered by the Department of Social Services, CCCECE, PACED, and John Tyler Community College. Background checks are conducted for all employees.

Newsflash

We have been amazed with the interaction our child has had not only with his teacher but with other teachers in the school. It really is a sense of community and they know him.
