A variety of summer camps are offered from June through August in conjunction with The X-Zone; each is designed to retain and further develop specific skills.  Though focus is on the elements promoted in each camp, students also enjoy the social interaction that accompanies this time.  Experienced coaches provide the structure, instruction, and attention needed to make each a success.  With the exception of baseball and music enrichment, each is a morning time four-day camp.  A brief description of each follows.

Soccer:  Grades 1-5 and 6-12

Camp Objective:  The camp gives players an opportunity to refine existing skills and to learn new ones, focusing on tactical understanding of the game, soccer intelligence, and decision making under pressure.

Basketball Camps:  Grades 1-5 and 6-12

Camp Objective: 

The purpose is to provide fun-filled basketball, teaching offensive skills, defensive techniques, and individual play within the framework of a team concept. Campers will have the opportunity to develop and improve upon basic fundamental skills.  Each camper will participate in skill development, lead-up games and activities.  Campers will be grouped according to age or ability to ensure maximum learning and skill development.  Camps will also provide the opportunity to develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests.  Camps feature:

Girls Cheer Camp:  Grades 1-5 and 6-12

Camp Objective: 

Designed to teach the fundamentals of cheerleading to female athletes in grades 1-3 and grades 4-6.  Stations are designed to teach campers age-appropriate skills and techniques that will allow them to improve both during and after camp.  Camps will also provide the opportunity to develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests.

Girls Volleyball:  Grades 6-12

Camp Objective:

Designed to teach the fundamentals of volleyball for female athletes in grades 6-12. Drills are formatted to teach campers proper techniques that will allow them to continue to improve even after the camp

Music Enrichment:  Grades 1-5

Objectives:  The camp is designed to provide a fun-filled, God-centered Music Camp. Through team work we will work to put together an entire musical production in one week.   Each camper will participate in a daily devotional, music learning techniques, singing and staging coaching, and choreography instruction.  Music camp will also provide the chance to develop character, make new friends, and discover new interests.

The camp is in the mornings Monday – Thursday, till 2:30 on Friday, with a Friday evening performance.

Baseball Camp:  Ages 7-14

This camp is conducted by Learn 2 Play Baseball, directed by Tommy Nuckols.  The camp skills include:
