Who We Are

Our Story

Guardian Christian Academy started as a preschool over 45 years ago and has evolved to a dually accredited program offering a Christ-centered education to students from ages preschool to 12th grade. GCA serves the Chesterfield community by providing families with a safe and caring environment for their children to learn and grow both spiritually and academically. Our education cultivates strong principles and values through scripturally based instruction to develop practical life and leadership skills that equip our young leaders for great impact. Our programs such as technology, art, theater, music, physical education, and foreign language afford students new learning experiences expanding their knowledge and critical thinking skills. Competitive sports programs are available in our new Sports Complex as well.

At GCA, students will experience an education that meets their academic, social, and spiritual needs while challenging them to learn new things.

When Southside Church relocated to the corner of Route 288 and Courthouse Road in 1999, the school incorporated, becoming Guardian Christian Academy. Over time, programs were added, and an elementary school began. Music, Art, PE, Spanish, Library, and Technology instruction rounded out the elementary education. Through the years, the dreams for a competitive sports program and the addition of an upper school developed and became a reality.

Today Guardian Christian Academy provides quality educational services for children ages 2 through High School.

Sharyn Rogers

I have 3 kids who attend GCA. We have been sending them there the last 5 years and we could not be more pleased. The Christian based curriculum is essential, and all my children have excelled in learning. The teachers not only work with the students but genuinely care about the kids. Mostly all the parents are involved also, volunteering in and around the classroom when they have the opportunity. Overall, the school is a wonderful learning environment for the value.
